I love to run, and I love to bake. I recently moved to London from NYC, where I was a member of Prospect Park Track Club. I’ve run 14 half marathons and 2 marathons and am an RRCA certified run coach.
I started this blog in 2012, when I began training for my first half marathon. I grew up as a dancer and never did sports, but began running a few miles a week in college as a way to work out and soon became hooked. After my first 10K in Milan (while living abroad teaching English in Sicily) I decided to sign up for a half marathon.
The following year, I did the New York Road Runner’s 9+1 program (9 races, 1 volunteer) for guaranteed entry into 2014 NYC Marathon, when I ran my first 26.2 miles at 26 years old.
In May 2016, I ran my second marathon in Ottawa, Canada, with a 32-minute PR!
I’m now trying to balance life as a grad student in London with running, traveling, and lots of dessert . Follow along for the ride!
